Acclaimed actress Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that her upcoming appearance in the next installment of the popular superhero franchise ‘X-Men’ will be her final one.
Jennifer Lawrence, the Oscar-winning actress, has revealed that her upcoming appearance as Mystique in the next ‘X-Men’ film will be her last in the popular superhero franchise.
Jennifer Lawrence, who has portrayed the character of Mystique since 2011’s ‘X-Men: First Class’, announced that she will be leaving the role after next year’s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. “It is my last one, yes,” she said. This makes her the second ‘X-Men’ cast member to suggest that ‘Apocalypse’ will mark their final appearance in the last couple of weeks. Nicholas Hoult, who played Beast in ‘X-Men: First Class’ and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, said that the 2016 installment of the series was the last movie he was signed up for, although he wouldn’t rule out returning in the future.
